چکیده
We consider a time-dependent small quantum system weakly coupled to an environnement, whose effective dynamics we address by means of Lindblad equation. assume the Hamiltonian part Lindbladian is slowly varying in time and dissipator has amplitude. study properties evolved state as adiabatic parameter coupling constant both go zero, various asymptotic regimes. In particular, analyse deviations transition probabilities between instantaneous eigenspaces with respect their values purely setup, function parameters.

General Adiabatic Evolution with a Gap Condition
We consider the adiabatic regime of two parameters evolution semigroups generated by linear operators that are analytic in time and satisfy the following gap condition for all times: the spectrum of the generator consists in finitely many isolated eigenvalues of finite algebraic multiplicity, away from the rest of the spectrum. The restriction of the generator to the spectral subspace correspon...
متن کاملQuantum Adiabatic Evolution Algorithms with Different Paths
In quantum adiabatic evolution algorithms, the quantum computer follows the ground state of a slowly varying Hamiltonian. The ground state of the initial Hamiltonian is easy to construct; the ground state of the final Hamiltonian encodes the solution of the computational problem. These algorithms have generally been studied in the case where the “straight line” path from initial to final Hamilt...
متن کاملQuantum Computation by Adiabatic Evolution
We give a quantum algorithm for solving instances of the satisfiability problem, based on adiabatic evolution. The evolution of the quantum state is governed by a time-dependent Hamiltonian that interpolates between an initial Hamiltonian, whose ground state is easy to construct, and a final Hamiltonian, whose ground state encodes the satisfying assignment. To ensure that the system evolves to ...

constraints: time evolution of the adiabatic piston Christian Gruber Institut de physique th eorique Ecole Polytechnique F ed erale de Lausanne CH-1015 Lausanne, Switzerland June 22, 1998 Abstract The equations for the time evolution of the controversial adiabatic piston problem are obtained using a very primitive model of the uids. It thus shows that the 1st and 2nd laws of thermodynamics lead...
متن کاملHydraulic Energy Dissipators – A Review
Hydraulic Energy dissipators are devices to protect downstream areas of basin from erosion by reducing the velocity of flow up to an acceptable limit. The stilling basins are transition structures fabricated to dissipate excess energy confined by flow with high velocity at the outlet of conduit or tunnel so that the flow beyond the basin does not threaten the firmness of bed and banks of downst...
